Esquel’s strategy is one of differentiation.
(question: do we have to define what generic strategy is?)
I have a strong feeling Porter’s value chain will be coming out in the exam because it was discussed in great detail during class.
Nermal Kaur has kindly shared the following as differentiation drivers: 1) Product features and performance… – agreed 2) skill of employee – also agreed 3) vertical supply integration – not sure where this comes in, can someone clarify?
And would it be correct to add: 4) Intensity of marketing activity: branding as in the PYE stores…
